Note: To remove various objects on the airport, go to “impulsesimulations-airport-yscb-canberra\scenery\world\scenery” and rename the following files:

• Remove parked cars: yscb-cars.bgl -> yscb-cars.bgl.off
• Remove static aircraft: YSCB_STATICS.BGL -> YSCB_STATICS.BGL.off

Note: To remove VDGS stands, rename the file at “impulsesimulations-airport-yscb-canberra\scenery\YSCB_VDGS\scenery\YSCB_aerosoft_VDGS_modellib.BGL” to “YSCB_aerosoft_VDGS_modellib.BGL.off”

– Fixed Approach Lighting on Runway 35 and 17.
– Added Custom Approach Lighting on Runway 35 for Better Visibility.
– Removed Tall Runway/Taxi Lights as a recent update broke them in some spots.

– Separated VDGS so users on PC can disable them should they wish to use alternatives.
– Added Additional Parking spots for users.

– Removed water over photogrammetry that had been sunken just outside our airport focus area.

Welcome to Canberra International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Located in the heart of Australia’s National Capital, Canberra Airport is a small hop from popular destinations such as Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane & Coffs Harbour!

Canberra Airport is serviced by a range of airlines using a mixture of turboprop and jet aircraft such as the 737. In its dual role as a civilian airport and home to the VIP RAAF 34 squadron, it is also capable of supporting VIP aircraft from around the world including Air Force One and other large jets. There are a number of flying schools and general aviation businesses operating from the GA area adjacent to the main terminal.

The enroute supplement linked on page 7 of the manual, which serve as an ideal introduction to explore the city of Canberra.

Take your favourite sight seeing aircraft or helicopter and check out some of the many attractions such as Parliament House, the National Museum on the lake shore, the War Memorial, and the defence precinct including the Australian Defence Force Academy which overlooks the airport from Mount Pleasant.
