Description

Rijeka is the third largest city in Croatia, after Zagreb, the capital and Split. An interesting fact about Rijeka is that every year, the city hosts one of the biggest carnival festivals. The city has an interesting historical background and lots of activities to do so if you are traveling to Rijeka by plane, here you have a guide to Rijeka airport.

The airport of Rijeka is actually located on the island of Krk, close to Omisalj, approximately 30 km from Rijeka. The island of Krk is connected to the mainland by a bridge; the toll for the cars is 35 kuna but it has to be paid only when coming from the mainland to the island.
