Description

Rio de Janeiro is a large Brazilian city by the sea, famous for the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, the 38-meter-high statue of Christ the Redeemer, on top of Corcovado, and sugarloaf Mountain, a granite peak with cable cars to its summit. The city is also known for its large slums. The exciting Carnival, with floats, extravagant and samba-free fantasies, is considered the largest in the world. Santos Dumont Airport is a domestic airport in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, one of the ten busiest in Brazil. It has a privileged location and easy access well in the financial center of the city.
