The Challenger 350 is a low-wing, twin-engine business jet by Bombardier Aerospace. The aircraft is based on the companyβs Challenger 300, bringing improved range over that earlier model. The Challenger 350 took its maiden flight on March 2, 2013 and entered service on June of 2014. The Jet is crewed by two and has capacity for nine passengers.
The Challenger 350 features a swept main wing with a span of 69 feet, a T-tail empennage, and retractable tricycle landing gear. The jet is powered by two Honeywell HTF7350 turbofan engines mounted on the rear aspect of the fuselage that deliver up to 7,300 pounds of thrust each. The jet cruises at 530 miles per hour, has a top speed of 550 mph, and has a range of 3,680 miles. It climbs at 4,200 feet per minute and has a service ceiling of 45,000 feet above sea level.
