SCNT Julio Gallardo Airport is a local airport located in the city of Puerto Natales, a town located in the extreme south of Patagonia in Chile. The closest airports to Puerto Natales are El Calafate (ARG) and Punta arenas (CHI).
This airport is the exclusive entrance to visit the famous Torres del Paine, one of the wonders of the world most recognized throughout the world.
Torres del Paine: In order to develop the characteristic mountain peaks of the national park, all elevations had to be manually modeled using maps and photos of the place as references. To date, there are no exact terrain meshes of Torres del Paine, only very inaccurate elevations that do not resemble the real elevations of these imposing mountains.
The textures: Only the elevation of the terrain was carried out occupying the same textures of the simulator.
