v1.0.7:
– WT 530 is now the default GPS (Optional PMS530 is still supported, but is no longer included within the plane. See the Documentation for more info)
– Unfortunately this means that some aspects of the AP will no longer work correctly, as well as some of the MD-41s functions. This is all unfortunately out of my control, as the WT code of the GPS is dictating how, when and what the AP sim events do, as well as ignoring cfg file settings.

– WPT and MSG lights on the MD-41 no longer work.
– GPS/APR button will no longer activate a loaded GPS approach.
– The KAP140s UP/DN buttons will no longer affect the APs reference altitude while in ALT mode, in either the 20 FT single press increments/decrements, nor allowing a 500 FPM climb/descent while holding down those buttons, and subsequent new reference altitude upon release of said buttons.
– The APs independent BARO no longer as any affect, and will incorrectly react to the panels baro setting.

– Various code optimizations
– Fully functioning static system, that will provide natural failures depending on what is blocked, be it the pitot tube, pitot drain hole, or static port.
– Light potentiometer fixes Specifically the Lvars are no longer valid, and the cabin lights now behave properly using just standard sim events, which should simplify things.
– Clock buttons tweaked to be not so “sticky”
– New cabin light textures
– CDI flag while using GPS OBS mode fixed
– Corrected missing fouling from improper shutdown
– Throttle response tweaks
– Fixed transponder modes not being “off” from lack of power
– Oil cooler tweaks to play nice in warmer weather

This add-on from developer WB-Sim provides a significant boost to the realism of the default Cessna 172 Skyhawk (standard, float plane and ski plane) included in the DELUXE or PREMIUM DELUXE edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator, with enhancements to the electrical system and many upgrades to the default cockpit instrumentation.

Engine wear and tear is now modelled and insufficient maintenance will have consequences for your Skyhawk!

Electrical system:

• Dynamic battery voltage drop
• Correct ammeter display
• External charging available

• Functional circuit breakers, which may trip from faulty equipment

Cockpit and equipment:

• Optional state saving with 90+ points being saved so that your plane will be just as you left it
• Gyro spin-up animations
• Custom lighting throughout, dims if voltage is low
• Gauge needles subject to engine vibrations
• ADF needle subject to noise
• ADF needle instrument upgraded to the KI 227-01, which slaves the ADF card to the directional gyro
• Working cabin heat/defrost
• Fully functional M803 clock, including settable FT alarm and ET countdown mode
• Operational MD-41 GPS annunciator
• Working Title GNS 530/430 included (you can revert to the PMS GNS 530/430, see the Documentation)
• Custom-coded KAP140 autopilot corrects and adds a lot of missing features including accurate hold altitude, functional ALT arming, 20ft altitude adjustments and aural alerting
• Enhanced KT76 transponder, with dynamic radar pings and correct dimming function
• KR87 ADF with proper testing feature and audible ET countdown alarm
• All Bendix units feature an accurate font, and the KAP140 and KR87 have auto-dimming displays
