Note: To remove various objects on the airport, go to “inibuilds-airport-kdtw-detroit\Scenery\airport-kdtw-detroit\kdtw-scene” and rename the following files:

• Remove Static Aircraft: kdtw-scene-statics.bgl -> kdtw-scene-statics.disabled
• Remove Airport Animations: kdtw-scene-anims.bgl -> kdtw-scene-anims.disabled
• Remove Additional GSE: kdtw-scene-gse.bgl -> kdtw-scene-gse.disabled
• Remove People & Passengers: kdtw-scene-people.bgl -> kdtw-scene-people.disabled
• Remove Detailed Interiors: kdtw-scene-interiors.bgl -> kdtw-scene-interiors.disabled
• Remove Landside Cars: kdtw-scene-cars.bgl -> kdtw-scene-cars.disabled
• Remove 3D Trees: kdtw-scene-trees.bgl -> kdtw-scene-trees.disabled
• Remove Winter Equipment: kdtw-scene-winter.bgl -> kdtw-scene-winter.disabled
• Remove Christmas Tree (Dec only): kdtw-scene-xmas.bgl -> kdtw-scene-xmas.disabled

Welcome to Detroit

Building upon our previous releases, we’re excited to present our most detailed scenery yet: Detroit Metro Airport. Located in the state of Michigan, KDTW is the primary international airport of the state; being a major hub for Delta airlines, and a base for Spirit Airlines. Detroit serves as Delta’s main gateway to Asia for the Eastern United States, with the airport serving 30 international destinations and serving 39 states across the US.

Features:

• Hand-made ground textures with crisp, bespoke texture sets (Runways, aprons, paths, roads)
• True-to-life airport land side recreation with custom ground decals, signposts, vegetation, parking barriers and more
• Accurately modelled and positioned dynamic airport lighting
• Hand-placed, high-definition vegetation, signage, ground clutter, vehicles, handling objects
• Bespoke taxi signage as it is in the real world
• Highly detailed models of all airport buildings, objects and surroundings
• Detailed yet optimised, custom interior model for McNamara and Evans Terminals
• Use of the latest MSFS SDK features to allow for the best optimisation and performance possible
• Custom built jetways with realistic variations using PBR texturing and animations, including gate number toppers
• Accurate logos, real-world decals and advertisements scattered throughout the airport to promote a true to life feeling
• Hand-placed, airline-specific, bespoke ground service equipment placed accurately at each gate/terminal featuring hundreds of containers and dollies
• Level of Detail (LOD) optimisation for every model to encourage the best performance possible
• Animated train in the main McNamara Terminal, with closing and opening doors
• Fully animated Laminar fountain within the McNamara Terminal
• Custom, hand-placed de-icing static vehicles and ground service equipment at designated pads
