Description

Major Brigadeiro Doorgal Borges Airport is located in the municipality of Barbacena, Minas Gerais, at an altitude of 1115 meters above sea level. It is administered by the Air Cadet Preparatory School, a unit that is part of the Aeronautics Command of the Brazilian Ministry of Defense.

It has a 1760×30 asphalt runway with VFR and IFR operations and night beaconing.

Civil aircraft can land at the Airport with prior authorization request.
